On September 11, 2001, the United States suffered the loss of many lives.
As a proud citizen of the United States & a proud New Yorker, I felt my heart ripped out as the City I love so much fell under seige. My prayers are with so many of those who have lost their lives in this tragic event & for all those who have lost loved ones.

God Bless all the firefighters & police officers who have risked their lives to save so many!

"When I am called to duty, God,
Wherever flames may rage,
Give me strength to save a life
Whatever be its age.
Help me embrace a little child
Before it is too late,
Or save an older person from
The horror of that fate.
Enable me to be alert and hear the weakest shout,
And quickly and efficiently
To put the fire out.
I want to fill my calling and
To give the best in me,
To guard my every neighbor and
Protect his property.
And if according to my fate
I am to lose my life,
Please bless with your protecting hand
My children and my wife."
